How to Mobile Bid with Greater Giving Online Bidding

We are a paperless auction! This year’s silent auction will once again use Greater Giving Online Bidding. Bidding will open Monday, August 17 for anyone who has their full information in the system. 

How Do You Bid?

1. Pre-register before the event. Do this by:

  • Purchasing your own individual ticket and filling in all the details
  • Giving your information to your table host

2. When the auction is open and you are checked in, you will receive an automated ‘Welcome’ text with your bidder link.

3. Click the link in the text message.

4. Begin searching for packages by name, number, or category.

5. Select the package you wish to bid on. You can bid in three different ways:

Click Bid for the next increment.

Click Bid More than the next increment OR

Choose Bid More and set a Max Bid. If your max bid is the highest, the system will automatically bid in your favor until you are outbid or until the Silent Auction closes. If your bid is lower than the highest max bid on that package, you will be prompted to enter a higher bid.

6. Some packages may have a BUY NOW price. To purchase a package at the Buy Now price and close the bidding on that item, click Buy.

7. If you’re out-bid at any point before the silent auction closes, you will receive a text message.

8. To "watch" a package, select the star icon on the package.

9. To view packages you are watching, click the menu button and select Favorites.

10. To view packages you are bidding on, click the menu button and select Bids.

10. To make a donation to the Passage House Underwriters Club, select the button on your home screen and choose a preset amount or select the Custom Amount button to enter the amount you wish to donate.

11. When you arrive at the event, have your credit card ready so that we can swipe your card and get you into the event. We'll have a bunch of volunteers ready to greet you.

12. Once the auction closes, the guest with the highest bid will win each package.

Click the menu button and select Bids to see your winning packages. Packages you had the highest bids on will be marked WON.
