How to Bid in our Virtual Auction! 

Bidding will open Friday, May 8 at 12:00pm and close Sunday, May 10 at 6:00pm. 

How Do You Bid?

1. Purchase an admission to the virtual event. You'll be asked to provide an email address and/or cell phone number where we can send you the link to begin bidding. 

2. When the auction is open, you will receive an automated ‘Welcome’ text and/or email with your bidder link.

3. Click the link in the text message.

4. Begin searching for packages by name, number, or category. Each package will have a photo of the item(s) as well as a description. If you have any questions about a package, you can email development@covenanthouseak.org

5. Select the package you wish to bid on. You can bid in three different ways:

Click Bid for the next increment.

Click Bid More than the next increment OR

Choose Bid More and set a Max Bid. If your max bid is the highest, the system will automatically bid in your favor until you are outbid or until the auction closes. If your bid is lower than the highest max bid on that package, you will be prompted to enter a higher bid.

6. Some packages may have a BUY NOW price. To purchase a package at the Buy Now price and close the bidding on that item, click Buy.

7. If you’re out-bid at any point before the silent auction closes, you will receive a text message.

8. To "watch" a package, select the star icon on the package.

9. To view packages you are watching, click the menu button and select Favorites.

10. To view packages you are bidding on, click the menu button and select Bids.

10. To make a donation, select the button on your home screen and choose a preset amount or select the Custom Amount button to enter the amount you wish to donate.

11.Once the auction closes, the guest with the highest bid will win each package. Covenant House Alaska Development Team members will reach out to the lucky purchases to confirm payment and delivery of the item.

Click the menu button and select Bids to see your winning packages. Packages you had the highest bids on will be marked WON. 

Please note: If you live outside of Anchorage, there will be additional shipping charges to mail any items you purchased.
